The interwebs are more than just a series of tubes full of porn. Sometimes those tubes are in fact a crispy cannoli of geeky
goodness overfilled with fan tribute pictures and sprinkled with the chocolate chips of actual news.
But, we here at The Cool Ship know that you are all too busy and important to devour he entire box of cannoli. So, in a continuing effort to be ever more awesome and make you slowly more and more dependant on and addicted to the site, may I present our newest feature: The Week in Geek.

Each week’s column will feature a smattering of the some relevant news and things that I think are just plain neat in the geekosphere. Yes, I realize that this will force me to break out of my much-lauded laziness. But for you, dear reader, anything! I’m no hero, just a blogger trying to do the right thing by her legions of loyal fans.
Once I figure out how to make it, each week will feature a fresh slideshow of fun images floating to the top of the World Wide Web. This week will feature a feature saw-weet images smattered about.. Sorry!
Next week will be fuller, promise! But, I do have one favor to ask. Well, no, I wasn’t going to ask you to help me move, but since you brought it up…No, what I need you to do is suggest topics for the slideshow in the comments.
